As a result of the measures taken to counter the spread of COVID-19, the CFL have revised the planning of their construction, maintenance and modernisation work on the rail network. As a result, the annual map of the CFL’s engineering works has been reissued.

These railway infrastructure works require the closure of certain railway segments in order to permit that these can be performed safely and swiftly.

Closures in July 2020 per line:

Line 10 (Luxembourg – Troisvierges – Gouvy):

between Ettelbruck and Troisvierges:

  • the weekend of 4th and 5th July 2020
  • from Saturday 11th to Sunday 26th July 2020 included

between Ettelbruck and Diekirch:

  • the weekend of the 4th and 5th of July 2020
  • from Saturday 11th to Sunday 26th July 2020 included

Line 30 (Luxembourg – Wasserbillig – Trier):

between Oetrange and Trier:

  • the weekend of 4th and 5th July 2020
  • the weekend of 11th and 12th July 2020

Line 50 (Luxembourg – Kleinbettingen – Arlon):

between Luxembourg and Arlon:

  • from Saturday 11th to Sunday 26th July 2020 included
  • between Friday 31st July (from 10 pm) and Sunday 2nd August 2020 included

Line 70 (Luxembourg – Pétange – Rodange – Athus – Longwy):

between Luxembourg and Hollerich:

  • from Friday 31st July (from 10 pm) to Sunday 2nd August 2020 included
