Mersch station shines in new splendor

Mersch station now shines in its full new splendor. Following extensive renovation and extension work on the rail infrastructure side completed in 2023, the station building and forecourt have also received a fresh makeover.

In addition to the opening of a brand-new CFL cactus shoppi, which offers a convenient shopping option for travelers and local residents alike—easily integrated into daily mobility routines—the newly renovated station also provides several other amenities.

The new station building shines in new splendor, the modern design of the forecourt harmonizes with the renovated station building. Special attention was paid to preserving the exterior appearance to honor the architectural heritage of the historic building.

The renovation of Mersch station reflects CFL’s commitment to expanding its wide-ranging mobility services. CFL customers are regularly surveyed to improve service offerings. Among the expectations for the stations of tomorrow was the desire for commercial services that can be easily combined with travel.
